Abstract
In the field of public health there is a need to reach new achievements and make improvements in the care of people, not only to increase the satisfaction of users, but also to increase the satisfaction of the workers themselves, on the productivity of employees of public health institutions. The improvement in areas of organizational behavior can affect and benefit the productivity of health care employees, including a reduction in absenteeism rates and improvements in the quality of care provided to users. The present study analyzed a high complexity hospital, with the objective of determining if there is a relationship between job satisfaction and interpersonal trust and organizational climate. The study is cross-sectional and correlational. The measurement instrument is a survey consisting of 4 questionnaires, the sample consisted of 344 employees. Structural equation models were applied and two models were generated: the original model (Organizational Climate = B1x Job Satisfaction + B2* Interpersonal Trust + Error) and an alternative model (Organizational Climate = B1x Job Satisfaction + Error). It is concluded that job satisfaction has a positive and statistically significant relationship on organizational climate, here satisfaction with the work group and opportunity for development are privileged. The perception of interpersonal trust was not statistically relevant in the context studied.
